The final of the Stewartry Seniors Triples League between Auchencairn, section ‘A’ winners and Castle Douglas winners of section ‘B’ was played today at Auchencairn. Laurie Little, Robin McCartney and John Hunter beat Douglas Hunter, Melvyn McTaggart and Bert McRobert. In the other game Jock McGarrie, Billy Malcolmson and Bob Hope beat Terry McElroy, Billy Shennan and Ramsay Lamont.
